M Street Retail Store
The facade of the “M Street Retail Store” was designed to replace an existing three-story facade of a retail store in Georgetown. The concept is driven by two main ideas—the projection of surfaces and the vertical wooden louvers. The building features continuous glass curtain walls that is to not only showcase the store from outside, but also to emphasize biophilic design. The two-story bay window located above the main entrance creates a hierarchy to the design through its projection and distinct color.
